Interactive
whiteboards: case studies
As more schools are fitted with interactive whiteboards there
is a real need for teachers to play an active role in specifying
the ways in which this extremely powerful tool is installed
and used. The technology can effect a profound change in the
ways in which our students learn, the ways in which we teach
and, more fundamentally, the ways in which we organise the
curriculum and our schools.
This growing resource aims to help those at the forefront
of a new technology by providing as much information and as
many case studies as possible. Some of the information comes
from industry; some from colleagues overseas. There are real
centres of excellence in this country: one aim of these resources
is to disseminate them as widely as possible and build an
active community of practice.
If you have any material you would like to share with colleagues,
or have any comments to make about the resources here, please
contact info@virtuallearning.org.uk.
This resource has been funded by Promethean Ltd, and MirandaNet
Ltd.
